Empty Shell
I am a twisted mass of scar tissue
I am a warped manic scattered and disarray
I am a hollow shell of past echos
I am a damaged heart that barely beats
I am a dark tormented soul lost and wandering
I am a fragile flower plucked from the earth stuck in a vase
and left to die
I am years of separation and isolation
On my own alone battling depression and loneliness
I take nothing I give nothing I have become nothing existing as nothing
I am sorry I am not the person you remember from our childhood
I am sorry that you did not see me in better years when I had a sparkle in my eye a smile on my face and dreams in my heart
