Everyday
I open my eyes to another question; will today be a good day? Will I manage the emotions, or be caught in the fray.
The medication dulls insanities plea, I don’t know what belongs to them, or me.
These things I’ve accepted are beyond my darkest dreams. I smile for the family, though my sarcasm beams.
The husband and father I was, I can’t remember that man. He died of necessity, sacrificed like a lamb.
