Everything

Everything

You're like
A cup of hot sweet tea
But meaning everything to me
The smell that fills the air
And lingers in your hair
The taste so sweet but burns my mouth
The sensation though that fills the house
You're like
A really good poop in the morning
That makes me feel better
You're like
Warm fuzzy kittens and my favorite sweater
You're like
The world with so much more to explore
I'm happy you fell for me
And not some cheap whore

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
