    Faithless...

    Faithless, I stand alone,
    Swimming against the tides of religious indifference.
    I breath the air of deference
    Between religion and faith.
    Faithless, I stand alone,
    Devout in my convictions
    That I am the maker of my own fate,
    The ruler of my own personal destiny.
    Why , then,can I have no peace;
    Why cant I sleep?
    Faithless, I stand alone,
    The weak girl with the empty hole
    In the chest where her blackened heart resides.
    Emotion is for the weak,
    And the weak control the world.

    because your faithless, then your misserable. For God created us to have faith.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
