Poem Commentary

My first poem on this site... I hope u guys like it :D

Falling Melancholy

Battalions of the see-through sea

              That future festeration show,
Rejoice from free lifts, the laughing autumn gifts,
Which the breezes unwind and grow.

Movement of care delight trees with their flare

              And forget atrocity of snow.

The city awakes as prime snowflakes

              Make the breath of tomorrow.

Such lasts for days, the gradual phase

Until rays appear once more.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
