Fast Lane

Life in the fast lane isnt what I thought
Life was too tame now I think its not
Followed a white line it leads to the dirt
Gettin high aint a crime whos it gonna hurt
Fame and fortune came my way I blew it all to shit
If I keep goin this way Ill end up in a pit
People cared about me they werent worth my time
I done treated them wrong and thats the real crime
It hasnt gotten better how can it get much worse
If I party too much harder Ill end up in a herse
No life in the fast lane isnt what I thought
Now I fight to remain king of the local haunt
