    father

    he left a scar i couldn't see
i let the razor leave scars that would always be
bleeding out the pain he left inside of me
tears come often,i believe they're cleansing me
the nightmares aren't real, but they take a toll on me
reaching for guidance,a way out of hell
without drinking or cutting can i ever heal?

scars of the past could be hard to bare. don't keep them. live in light and love, just for you.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
