    Forever is lost

    you said forever
    and i agreed
    nothing could seperate us
    it seemed impossible
    you greeted me
    in your friendly way
    i smiled you laughed
and we kissed and sat there
you had stars in your eyes
    i had love in mine
    you wanted to shine
    i wanted your presence
when you cried and was sad
    i was there for you
you would cry into my shoulder
    and thec laugh later
    but lately im seeing
    indesicion and pain
    in your eyes and stance
    and your grin has fled
    you look at me sadly
    and sigh and look around
    you say empty words
i love you means nothing anymore
    when was forever lost?
thats what id like to know
    and you have left
    never to return
    i feel alone
    lost and cold
    crying with nothing
    and pain everywhere
    what color there was left
    has bleaked into grey
and your voice still haunts me
    your smile still plagues me
    you said forever
    now i disagree
this is the end of forever
the end of us, the end of me.

Wow. That was an excellent poem. I love the use of the word Bleaked. I hardly see it used and used right. Ecellent job.

This poem paints a very good picture in the readers mind. The meter and good use of the metaphor. It also has a strong ending verse. worthy of a 10

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
