A new challenge for all; When GOD Knocks on your Door, what will you do, confess all your sins or try and con your way into heaven, Due by Sat. 29th 6:00 pm,, Have fun and put yourself in the place as the one who opens the door on that last day, as God goes door too door to see who is worthy.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DPS ll is (Duelling Poets Society) its all in fun,any one can do, new challenges weekly and no cost to you or others LOL. I decided to bring my challenges back just for the fun of it and the art of painting a picture with words, there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and all others are honorable mention. any questions let me know, Thanks PHOENIX

Well I must say last time I checked we were all born nude unless you were a different case!
This is a challange about GOD knocking on your door and what you would do if you even believe in GOD. I would be more careful then making joke's! As alway's I will say again I could care less what anyone think's of my picture it's about poetry not a picture which both are a form of art get over it.


P.S. You could be nude when GOD knock's on your door then what?

This was such an intresting challenge I had to throw my hat in this one. Don't care for reginition or what ever your going to give out. But being as opnionated about subjects I may as well molest and expoit this topic as well. If God Were At My Door is the title hope you all enjoy Plot121...

When God knocks on your door.
Will you be ready.
Will you fall on your knees.

What shall you say to him.
Father have I sinned to much.
Have I taken your name in vain to often.
Have I not loved my brothers enough.

We spin our wheels trying to get through these meager lives.
Hoping not to forget that which gave us breath.
We overlook the beauty he made for our eyes to see.
We leave our loving hearts he gave us unused.

When God knocks on your door.
Will you be ready.
Will you be afraid if he asks, "Why have you forgotten me."
Will you have an answer for him.

As for me I pray that I can find an answer for him.
That I have not forgotten to thank him for this life.
That he will be proud that he gave that life to me.
That I will be ready for his son's coming...........

I appologize for my rage earlier.simply put,I confronted a man that raped me from age of 6 and it was not till march this year that my mind allowed me to remember it.a dear friend asked me to argue with some person about god and I was just soo full of anger hurt and emotional crap,i lost it.didn't even know what she was so worked up over and didn't want to go to some place on this site. But the emotions and hostility were meant for the sick man I confronted,whom again stole from me the ability to grow from it by acting like I was nuts.So feeling all of this crap then needing a friend to just let me live in the here and now of life ,i didn't know how to be valadated taken seriously or acknowledged,when her whole concern was over some persons opinion of thinking they were God.I swallowed and minimized my need and said "you want me to do what and then opened to this post area and released some 37 years worth of not being a person not given a voice not being important enough to even have a emotion that was not told to me by my care givers aka parents.This is my explaination and appology to those whom were hurt or offended by the post that is gone now.I really do not want to be rated I am tired of being judged and told instead of asked .More then that, given the right of hearing and allowing me to stand firm on my response.Respecting me and my answer enough not to make me change it to suit what you wish.

God don’t knock on doors, my friend.
Cause He’s you and me and all our friends
As well as deadly enemies, and

He’s not around to judge us, friends

The trouble is he loves us all
He loves both sides of any brawl
Both them as wins and them as falls
‘Cause God ain’t got no morals.

Now I ain’t sayin’ morals are wrong
Just wanta know who to put blame on

Bible say He wrote Ten Basic Rules
To keep folks from bein’ total fools,
Then threw us right back in the Pool
Sayin’ “sink or swim now, Charley”!

He gave us sharks a’plenty fish to eat
And brains to figure how to keep
Within His budget of incarnate souls that
Eat high budget stuff like meat
Denying careless lives deplete,
The very Earth below our feet
And the growing things
WE need to eat.

But what about those who do hear God’s call?
The fist group goes insane and falls to see,
They’re not what one’s mind would like to be,
(Uniquely God’s most Chosen One
To whom all others should bow down.)

‘Cause all the teachers who told the truth
That God will speak to me and you,
And ANYONE,
Were burned at stakes,
The stakes in olden days were made
Of wood; Today more likely paper.
So the ones that speak out get disgraced;
And lose their clout.
So most of us don’t let it out.

While those who wink
Self-centeredly hire TV time to shout
Lies made up by clergymen
Covertly even to themselves
Are Satan’s true devout,
Who’s golden line's
The “Bottom Line”
Let no one ever doubt.

Our house is burning without doubt
While looters and shooters clean it out
Of substitutes
For God’s
Sweet words
As heard
By God’s

the single most important insight
about four years ago
I was sitting at the coast
defeated again by hope

lost in the feeling of dispair
stowic ,numbed,adrift
a gaze and emptyness
waves form,and dissipatate

to familiar,resembling enthusiasm
so deep in it I didn't notice
my space was not just mine
a familiar face

girl about 6 yrs old
I had her beat I was 36
slight was my desire to engage
ironic she seemed the same

She was a island to herself
I have no children
Do not have many friends
thirty year gap

flashes of light surround me
lightning striked and crowned me
my body light,burdens took flight
As I saw myself engolfed and deaf

before my eyes my entire life
the guilt ,shame ,insecurity,fears
that girl appeared again
this time reaching for me

till I reached for her
this girl was no stranger
that is me,before I fell in
fell into the den of lies

I was broken of my love of me
soon after lost all faith
a purpose for the words and falls
my mother threw me like a doll

endure for other to do even more
take take and teach me to be
just a victem of all the attrositys
my wounded inner child

at that moment of realizations
warmth and intensity of light
A voice to sooth and make right
I knew it was part of his fight

I was reunited with the soul and love
my lord intended from the start
thy will be done,earth ,heaven
daughter and forever a testomony

I am the temple and church
My small price of life
was a easy thing if only
to show it was all for his glory

no one else can judge or hurt
because true love doesn't hurt

My God didn't knock ,however he does take me all the time to new knowlege and more understanding of things no one else seems to see.

The Question

We were all just molecules in some very distant years
Free-falling, floating entities in our Mother’s tears

Of course the Mother of whom I speak is the Mother of all mankind
The Mother Earth and Mother Sky and all we’ve left behind

How many eons have evolved in the Mother’s frame of time?
They can’t be measured in months or years or in anybody’s rhyme

Did we come from distant galaxies through a black hole in the sky?
Did other beings give their lives so that we would never die?

Did they send us here with all the best that they could share and give?
I’m wondering if we’ve made them proud the way we choose to live

We must accept that we owe our Mother and not leave her in a bind
The future generations should know that we weren’t blind
