Re: Apologies are Bull-ShitIt looks like you were the only one at the party who had any brains. Your Aunt could have walked over to you and greeted you just as easily. Was the distance greater from you to her than from her to you? It seems as though there is someone in every family that looks for a reason to be offended. They are seldom disappointed. |

Re: Apologies are Bull-ShitI've noticed that Greeks tend to use lemon juice the same way I use hot sauce. An interesting story. Keep posting! |

Re: Apologies are Bull-ShitI'm not usually a fan of the prose-poem form this one is written in, but I read it twice; slower the second time. Love the title, and how that related to and helped explain the whole message of the poem. Work like this makes me re-think my preferences and predjudices. Thanks for that. Fine work. |

Apologies are Bull-ShitI think when it comes to poetry and art -- an open mind is a path to new discovery -- |

Re: Apologies are Bull-ShitHey Michael, your experience here reminded me of a reunion we held at Wounded Knee. I was the only one that showed up...so I just squatted down on an old stone that had been placed there by one of my ancestors...it just had three words chiseled on it..."Forget us not" |
|
Apologies are Bull-ShitThe new inscripion should now read -- |
|
Re: Apologies are Bull-ShitYeah PT, that would be a good message...I'm sure that a lot of the Native Americans who died at Wounded Knee and other camps would have a lot of good advice to help save this planet and the whole of the Cosmos..............................gogant |

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
