Edit poemsIs there a way to edit poems? It seems that once a poem is posted, the only way to edit it is to delete it and repost it. |

Let me know if I'm missing something thanks. DE As of now that is the only way to edit your poem. We are rolling out the 'edit poem' option soon. The catch is if the poem is currently in the contest you cannot edit the poem until after the poem is out of the contest (7 days). At the time of submitting the poem if you choose 'no' for the poem contest then you will be able to edit your poem whenever you wish to. You guys will start to see these features appear within the next couple of weeks if all goes as planned. |

Re: Edit poemsI'm glad this was brought up because I have one I did not place in the contest with the mind set to apply critiques that are left behind only to find that one had to remove and repost, thus losing all comments. The comments to me are more important than the score left behind. Thank you again for all that you've done! |

Re: Edit poemsThis would be a great feature for sure. I've gone through the same procedure. Delete and then repost. It would be great to add an s or a period or change a misspelling and not have to repost the whole poem. It would be the way the thread works. I didn't know about losing comments. That would be hard to take. I haven't fallen into that category yet. I'm still new. Last edited by RHPeat 04-27-2009 at 06:20:02 PM |
Poetry is what is lost in translation.
