This is beautiful news Maddi!! All your hard work and dedication is paying off and I'm so proud to have the opportunity to stand by and watch it happen. The world needs more people like you!! If we can make a difference in the life of ONE person, we've accomplished the world... you will make a difference to the lives of thousands. Bravo to you AND to blanket rescue!

Rygar... thank you for sharing this little slice of yourself. It brings clarity to what we are all trying to accomplish here. I've been fortunate in my life and I've never had to search for a place to sleep, or wonder where my next meal is coming from. Most of us take that for granted. Your story just helped plant my feet back on the ground, and I thank you for that.

The last editor has you in his hands, soon back to me, and I'm working with PADS.
Once that is done, I send it to Pads, and they are working with Createspace, so
within 2 weeks the book should be available. congrads POB's
You have no idea in how Pads appreciates us, and this idea.
My next step after publishing date to the public is Clive, and magizines, and internet promos, I have some skills in that from the Begets of Autumn days.

Calling all my fellow poets of blood our help is needed and our blood is required. Two very good friends of mine Marie and Ginga have asked for our help as I thought our genre might be right up thier alley. They are looking for some darker writes for halloween, maybe something a little scary, something that will leave a blood trial of horror and fear in its wake, something that will leave all of the OP community shaking in thier boots, hiding in the corners and covering thier heads with thier sheets when they go to bed, something so dark and twisted that the image will make them leave the light on in fear of the dark, any takers??? Anyone POB up to the task??? Angel of darkness- POB for life!

Ginga, "ok, poets we are hoping there will be some October posts on 2poemsforu as there are so many poets that write excellent dark poetry and with Halloween around the corner Marie and I want some posts for October . So grab a poet friend and post 2 poems (1each), on 2poemsforu page. Haiku are welcome too. There's got to be 2 poets who would write haiku ...ala scare me to death! Hello, My name is Danielle Maldonado. These are a variety of my poems. You can choose which ever you like. I would love to be apart of this.


1. vampires

he holds me tight
and my neck he will bite
not afraid of this dark light
we creep together into the night



he says he likes me
and together we are free



our dark minds combind
as the full moon will blind
and as the stars shined



as the beautiful vampires kill
we will sign the will
the deathless thrill
the cold wind chill



he is the one of death
with the cold, icy breath



killing the living

blood lusting
undead we are making



biting

killing

for blood

of love

vampires



2. drugs and broken dreams

made of drugs and my broken dreams
a messed up world does not seem
it is real as it can get
with all these choises and a regret

a feeling of not wanting
but end up getting
life is hard
for love there is a guard

we cant get through
with these things we do
why do we do them when we know there bad
they let us be numb and unsad

when being numb
you turn to a bum
and get something worse
yes its a curse

i do not do this but my mother tought me how
all this stuff she would allow
now she is in the park
while i am in the dark

of feel lonely and disowned
i live with a dad and feel at home
while she is out getting worse than just stoned
life is hard make the best of it dont rome

dont get to far hold on
and dont get far gone
as i feel
noone should feel and i want to heal

please dont do drugs and hate
for hell it will create
for being fifteen
i wish this was all a dream


3. what i did

feeling a strong sadness from what i did
how my life was going so slow and could have ended
the 1 thing to be quiet and emotional
the other to keep me awake and unnoticable

so quiet and yet talkitive
yet only wispers my vocal cords could give
up all night and trying to fight
the dialated eyes
as not noticing some of us cry

why after i do this i always try
to be a better person to act normal i would rather die


4. A Beautiful Day

A beautiful day,
is always dark and grey.
Dark foggy and wet,
these days i wont regret.
I love these days,
there is no sunraise.
To burn you..
or hurt you.
Instead a nice cool chill,
soaking wet what a thrill!


5. Suicide

The soul is screaming,
feelings are tossing.
Not knowing about afterlife,
before she was slit by that knife.
The sorrow sigh of suicide,
the regret of a girl that made hersilf die.


6. welcome to my hell

i speak into nothing
thinking something was there
and knowing in my head that there never will be
i am in hell and will never return ..
now i will never laugh cry or scream
to busy fucking with people
if you think your life is bad
come join me in hell
where every one is god
and i am the one ruler above
fuck the world
the noises and the noises
i know what to do now
believe in this hell of paradise
where fucking is free to be with satan
he can do many things
and other demands can fuck as well
now dont be nervous welcome to my hell

Well blood-babies- Just got our copy of the POB book, and altho' we (John and I) are extremly proud that we are holding a copy in our hands- we are also dis-satisfied with certain elements in 'the finished' product.. sooo- just spoke to press, and the book is going back into shop for fine-tuning on the margins, and some punctuation issues we found- we apologize for this inconvenience, but we want a product we can all be completely proud of- We have already sold 15, and have many more inquires in less then a weeks time since it has been placed on the shelf.

-This is what John and I, feel we should do in this matter- for those of you who have ALREADY purchased your copy- please forward us your mailing address, and when the book is back on the shelf- in the condition we feel it should be- then we will send you a complimentary copy of the book to 'show off, and share'. We love you all- and thank you for your understanding in this matter.
