Salvation

Salvation

Blood Red

As the blood flows from the tears of his soul into the rivers of red,
So the lost souls of the forgotten past swim around in the pools of the dead,
Red with the life blood of sin,
Lost souls drowning in a fight they can never win.

For this place is a hell to be known,
Red with the blood of the sins to be shown.

Sins of man’s imperfect flesh,
Dead with the dust of the memories lost,
Forever will they burn in hell as the cost!

Blackened Glass

The world of the dead blackens the clearest sky,
Can you hear the angels in heaven cry?

Screams of terror that deafens the ears,
Flesh of the world brings death’s call near.

Break free from the tomb of the black glass,
Black with the souls of the darkness to mass.

Broken into a million pieces,
Caged no longer as the world releases,
Freedom from reaper's embrace,
Shards of glass that soar to a higher place.

Embodied Soul

A soul of such purity and grace,
Trapped in a body of flesh and disgrace.

As the sins of the world flows through your veins,
You skin barded and bound by our chains.

God’s very breath fills your lungs,
The holy spirit speaks through you with tongues.

Your heart beats to the very life blood of us all,
Within the very depths of our soul is where you call.

To deafened ears do you speak,
Our embodied soul is what you seek.

The cross

This wooden post holds the weight of the entire world,
Sins of the flesh in a tornado hurled.

Pain and agony that knows no bounds,
The screams of torment that makes the sound.

Nailed to the cross for the deadly sins of man,
A cost so great to bare, Yet it was all part of his plan.

Blood dripping from the finger tips of his heart,
For it is through his unselfish act that he gave us a fresh start.

Salvation for the future of tomorrow,
The souls of the dead no longer to borrow.

Man With Out A Face

To see the face of GOD is to be blinded by his grace,
Too bright with the purity of light for our souls to embrace.

No man has ever live to see his eyes,
Such a sin would become our demise.

For the Son of God has no face,
To see such a sight, one must travel to a higher place.

Blinded we are to such a sight,
Our hearts succumb to the heavenly light.

Halo Of Fire

Fire burns deep into a halo of perfection,
Knowing our salvation is in his resurrection.

Burning fire that fuels the soul,
Only our heart’s love can pay the toll.

Raging fire that howls into the bombastic moon,
The angels in heaven singing such a sweet angelic tune.

The rays of fire fill the sky,
Tears of joy as I wonder why,
Why he spared such a sinful beast,
Sins of the world he so released.

Rays Of Light

Rays of the future is what will be,
A path through the thickening fog is what I see.

The warmth of the light breaths life into our very hearts,
Salvation of our souls is where it all starts.

Freedom of will is our greatest gift,
Wings of the angels' so lift,
Our souls from the raging pits of hell,
Into the skies of heaven’s well,
Filled with the tears of God no more,
For his undying love taught us to soar.

Into the purity of heaven’s light,
Blood of the sacrificial lamb set things right.

Rays of purity blind our eyes,
No longer shall we live in an illusion of lies.

Our sinful lives no longer to bare,
For within our hearts you will find God’s true love to share…

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
