Re: New Things..

We cling on to the past like
Tomato sauce
Bleeding down the tears
Of red rain
There are blue skies beautiful women
With hazel blue eyes
The sun squeezes thru Saturn
To rise. Babies come to this earth
With a cry, bringing smiles to eyes
Then we take on the challenges
On earth while aliens are ten times
Past our worth building and constructing
Ministry, youth, smiles,
Then resides
Then resides
New things...

Re: New Things..

My little sis is moving
To a new thing
A place called Arizona
Where desert, cacti, & sun beckons
A place where a new job
New friends, will be made.
Even though she is moving closer
Her new thing is still over 2,000 miles
From her old thing -me, her big sis.

New Cold Wind

Into street center
rain falls
then moves to
cling to the curb

rain thrown into the air as
a bus comes plowing by

a new cold wind
brings flakes
clinging hard
under wheels

here where
buses fly

Re: New Things..

New Things:

Can be scary but interesting to know
When not knowing what is coming
With aloud bang and clang
Could it be the future?
Or the next day that brings

With flowers that smell
And the next today that lays
Or what about a new life with a new family
Not knowing what could happened
While walking down the street and the universe begins falling

It makes you think -- huh!
About all could happen with New Things!
When not knowing with a twisted
It could be bad or it could be good
Just watch out with these new things
Because you never knows what could get ya!

I knew a New gnu...

I knew a Guru
who had a gnu.
It was a new
blue gnu
with a red canoe
for four shoes.
Only a few knew
where his new
blue gnu
sailed off to
when it flew
from the new
Guru's zoo........~~~~~~~~~~

Now

Within a dark spot in space
near Orion's belt
dwells a myriad of galaxies.

Their delicate lights of lace;
are softly felt
beyond what we can see.

The new zoo...

Yes it’s true, about the zoo
That held the Guru’s gnu
All boys and girls who
had so much fun … grew
Till they were old at 32
But the blinking ,
Winking, sinking
Guru thought he knew
It was time for something new.
He laughed and laughed
Until he turned into
A silly, willy, dilly
parrot with only two
wings of indigo blue.
Then, like a moozler, flew
Far away to someplace new…

spracterious (emphasis on the tear sylable ) is certainly something new. To further note - - disempluiscious is as new as they can get. Just one more, if you please - to sock away for a rainy day . It's a first cousin to disempluiscious and that's hestrophrenitious. There so new, so rare you'll never find them anywhere ... but at OP. Please use with care.

The new thingie in our family is helping to feed our new grandbaby every two hours round the clock. Althought she is not a thingie she is a sweetie. Brook weighing 5lb 13 oz wearing pink. She does how ever need all your prayers as she has a cold. Something as simlpe as a cold can turn very bad. Just agree with me in prayer Jesus is healing her now. Thank you my poet friends. Gogant you seem to come up with a lot of interesting work. Great Job (OF COARSE)cool smilesmilegrin remember those prayers .smile

I am with you on that subject good words are fun and look good. Makes a brain look like it has smarts on the other hand keeping it simple makes it easier for the readers, not all are talented to have them. Most people don't use them daily anyway. Get out the book use them when you need them. The more you use them ,the better .The information fills your vocabulary to retain what you have learned.rolleyessmilewinkgrin

If there were a dark spot in space
The mistic wonders of what ,why, crosses many minds.
What if ,what lies within?? Your poem will arise the thoughts.of many. Once again your work mistifys i'ts readers. Well done.

RE: New Things..

Several years ago there were some words bandied about. Have you folks ever heard or read of a fictitious office memo which supposedly "came down from head office".?
It went on and on - was written with an aggressive edge and no one was sure what they were suppose to feel guilty about. No one was able to decipher it because it was a masterfully realistic work of gibberish by some writer. It seemed infectious - others copy cat works appeared with varying degrees of credulity.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
