Fragmented Rainbow Message

force fragmented furiously bright rainbows
down their throats and watch them choke
the bastards are hanging from gallows
bathed in fire being born from liars
the serpent whispers in their ears
no one sees spirits are pleased
and now Styx drinks the tears
tears of joy turn to unpure hate
wolves howl the moon turns foul
an innocent girl takes the bait
no path is lit for her to follow
fear they smell they can tell
now at last they smell sorrow
they strike fast can't move past
she can tell there's no tomorrow

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
