Goodbye For Now

Goodbye For Now

My love will live on long and true; my spirit will live inside of you.

So please for me, do not mourn; I know you have loved me since the day I was born.

The lord has given us faith, love and hope; with him in your life I know you will cope.

I will say,"hi," to the people we love, when I get to that place up above.

I know I have lost a tremendous fight; now it is time for me to move towards the light.

I will say goodbye for now the easiest way I know how.

With a touch on the shoulder and a kiss on the cheek; I will wait for the day that again we will meet
.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
