    Grandpa I Miss You

I still see your face. and sometime I think I can hear your voice. I always think of you and wish you were here to talk to about the the days when you were young and the things you did. I remember seeing you lying on your bed . you looked just like a baby. so sweet and innocent. As I held your handsin mine. I looked down at yours. I thought. these hands have dond so much. I hate to say good-bye to you. But as I looked at your face, I kewn it was time for you to go home.
So with a broken heart I whispered in your ear. Its ok. Grandpa , for you to let go. Your job here is done. It's time for you to rest. But please, as you leave me here alone, save a seat for me in heaven so I may hear about the good old days and laugh with you again.
Now that you have gone. my life is not the same. It's very loney and sad at time. But I know I will see you in the future. So when it's my time. I'll have a seat with you and Jesus too.
Now that you are gone , I think of you often. how I never understood you. But funny. now I think I do. You love me for who I am. never said anyting about my faults. You were always there for me. no questions asked. with kind words and a wonderful heart full of love. They say that when a person dies . his spirt leaves him. But your spirit stays with me always. I LOVE YOU GRANPA.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
