Poem Commentary

Poem writen about growing up when i was just 15

Growing up

The light bulb has gone
Nothing can bring it back
My boot lace has broken
It will never look the same
My blanket doesn't cover my toes
They are cold
I pull the blanket down
My head is now exposed
No matter how I wriggle, fidget, stretch, fight
I just can't cover myself
No matter how I scream, shout, laugh, sing
I just can't feel the same
My blanket has shrunk
Or is it me thats grown?
Something has changed
I will never be the same
Ever

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
