He Shortend the Day (Mark 13:20)

Temptations pressure,
vex My soul,
Temptations promise,
Black as burnt coal,
don't give yourself
To temptations grasp,
Though many gave in,
to flesh of man,
It sounds pleasing,
To soul it's a sin.
All men have sinned,
Men often fall short.
No! One man stood tall,
By example I exhort.
Temptation still stalks
Many Men that fall prey.
One still has mercy
the shortened days.
