Hear My Plea, Hear My Cry

How can one be this Dark inside
My soul so shattered wants to hide
Can someone like me ever be loved
I just pray and ask for help from the one up above
CAN YOU HEAR MY PLEA, CAN U HEAR MY CRY
Tears roll down my face as I look towards he sky
My heart begins to beat faster
My lungs began to lose air
Oh why, Oh why I know this can't be fair
CAN U HEAR MY PLEA, CAN U HEAR MY CRY
Wake me up because I know I must be dreaming
I open my mouth all I hear is silence, no screaming
As I pour my heart out on this page
I know deep down nothing is going to change.
Sometimes I feel like no one understands.
I always thought I needed someone to hold my hand
Someone who would never leave me and always be a friend
But not one time did I ask God to be that one
All he says "Is pray and ask and it shall be done".
CAN U HEAR MY PLEA, CAN U HEAR MY CRY
After I got down on my knees to seek the one that was
    above me
He said, "Take my hand child there's no need to sigh", you
    are with me now".
CAN U HEAR MY PLEA, CAN U HEAR MY CRY
CAN U HEAR MY PLEA, CAN U HEAR MY CRY
The only thing left on my mind is to question WHY

I completely enjoyed this poem from beginning to end, the fact that i love God and have a relationship with him, I understand where your coming from. You need to get to know God, he says "seek and it shall be found, ask and ye shall recieve." just have to be patient. God does give but what he knows is best for you, after all he created you, he knows u better than u know urself

Thank you for your comment God is most important and since that poem I have learned alot more and became closer to him. Being so young I think its important for young people to have a relationship with him.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
