here. there. everywhere.

So much of my life is like a movie
it just isn't filmed
If you could see me now
in the sunlight so bright but fa
ding
shining my hair with this perfection of sunset
and I - like a shadow
stand long and graceful
if you could just see me
right now
You'd love me - I know it
perhaps you already do
and just don't know yet
But we are never in the same place
at the same time
You cannot see me now or any time
And I am almost certain that
will never change
It's the tragedy of you and I
The life of us
keeping us away
I'd like to draw a line
from me to you
connect the dots
But there are no lines
only circles
round and round we go

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
