I am a sapphire (I am nothing more than the sand of the sea)
I am nothing more than a grain of sand. Pushed and pulled to my greatness evolution. My edges are uneven .I am twisted and shaped with the earth as it is my mother. I from her womb I take my form.
I am nothing more than a grain of sand.
I am plucked from home ground, taken from all I have known and sold like cattle. but not before I am observed ,touch and bitten for proof that I am worthy . They weigh me dress me and make me think I am beautiful.
I am nothing but a grain of sand
I am given a high price and for that I am pleased I shine brightly and put on a smile I am claimed a to man I don't know he says I’m hard to find and I am worth more than gold.
I am nothing but a grain of sand
by my smile I am liked ,my curves I am wanted , by my name I am a lady who has the heart of a sapphire.
To the world, I am something bigger than just little me, yet to me I am I am nothing more than a grain of sand one of many from the sea.
