I see Life
I see Life
My eyes are closed and my mind open wide,
It is all there and there is no place to hide.
I think of the past,
How it went so fast.
I think of loved ones no longer here,
Think of those here, whom I hold dear.
I think of my dreams and my hopes,
I think of life’s many slippery slopes.
I think of children’s laughter and glee,
Yes, life’s best gifts are indeed free.
I think of lover’s locking eyes,
And feeling their pulses rise.
I think of the many heart beats,
And of life’s many sweet treats.
I think of the green endless meadows,
And the willow’s welcoming shadows.
I think of the wind, sun, moon, and the bright stars,
Of earth, villages, cities, of galaxies, near and far.
Of hot summers, cold winters, autumn and spring.
Of this marvelous world and all the wondrous things
I think of life, love, laughter, joy and tears,
Of joy of success, of uncertainties and fears.
I think of the future and past,
I think life is good and a blast.
I open my eyes,
No, no surprise.
I see life.
