    • If you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do with your life?....

    J'ae Culture Laideur.....(MY CULTURE OF UGLINESS.)

     The struggling n hustling of the 'GHETTO' Commoner
    has finally passed and the quite kid has come to pass.....
    Now ayoung man today, ready for the World-
    full of will n desire...hopes n dreams...and why not.?
    ...he be the 'FUTURE LEADER' labeled.
    Unaware as days turned to weeks and weeks to month...
    before long aDecade has passed by,
    and an adult with afamily he finds himself.
    But what happened Yester' for such to pass....
    what diminished his Dreams..?
    The Freedom of our Fathers.......,
    their dreams for prosparity and peace for their sons n daughters are in Vain.
    How then can the 'Ghetto' kid/commoner own apiece of land,
    build ahome or educate his son n daughter....
    How can he afford that flour,
    or cooking oil for the elusive nyama....cloth his family.....?
    When those entrusted to guard our ForeFATHERS dreams are but thievies and gluttons...
    erasing every words n dreams and putting ones of oppresive n slavery.... Oh! 'GHETTO' KID dont dream to grow-up to MY CULTURE OF UGLINESS.

    This is amazing. Full of deep, personal reflections on such a heartbreaking cultural cycle. Everyone needs to read this piece and I think that the world would find a more accute awareness for what is going on in the world. This poem speaks of something that happenes far too often in society..in ALL parts of the world. Something needs to be done to break this vicious cycle and those in power who do nothing need to be held accountable. Great job! 10 from me
