Just awhile ago i was sitting in your world basking in your closeness.
enjoying a summer breeze, sitting in the front yard under the trees.

Sipping a little wine,spending a little time, talking softly of the years that's gone by.

It seems like that was just awhile ago, laughing and thinking of the right things to say.just to see your smile and brighten up your day.

Just awhile ago was 12 months today, as i sit here remebering, the warm nights, laying next to you, falling into a peaceful sleep, like no other.

Awakeing and wondering what the day will bring, as the sun shines thru your window, was it really just awhile ago.

Friendship born out of a love affair gone wrong, ours was the making of just another silly love song.

I opened my closed heart to something that would never be, as i'm left here with these memories that keep haunting me.
