    Learning To Trust

I Love You! I have shared this expression with you while you have used it many times. But there is a part that must come from you and I, which make it all, happen, to the one we say that we love. Sometimes things seem to happen, that cause anger and rage to be released from our tongues. Negative thoughts that bombard the mind, breaks the cement that holds a loving relationship together as one.

I recognize that you are as fragile as the orchids that you genuinely love. But without this important element, the happiness that we now have and feel erodes into harsh, bitter words spoken that cause tears to flow like a stream.

There are times that I may need to remind you that I may not be physically by your side, but you always have a permanent place deep inside my heart. My daily challenge is to help you understand that it is you I really want. By somehow finding a way to erase about me your doubts, not like a rose that today springs into life and tomorrow withers and dies.

This thing that I speak of is the key that opens the door. Finding it will eventually heal the past wounds of how others have broken your heart. Right now I know it causes you to worry especially during the night. What is he doing and who is he with. The past has brought too many negative thoughts that flood the mind. I know for I too have to constantly put forth the effort to cast them down.

Please, fight this insecurity, so that the love we share can last. I know that trusting is easier said than done, and without it we just have a mess. I am here to love you and make you feel that you have more worth as a person than anyone has ever shown you. I feel that in the past you have found that it was easier to just dig deep and move on. You lost hope in finding a love that would grow stronger by the day. Now that you have it, don’t do or say the things that will push it away.

So take a deep breath and let’s look to the road ahead. Together we can get through these obstacles, and start this journey again. Our past life is now an open book where in time we will both learn to read it. As I learn to reap from your kindness, allow me to feed your love with all the things that I can share. I truly love you and need you in my life. So unless we learn to trust one another, the love we say we have, will not be love that together we will share!
