Life Changes
A little girl entered into this world unaware of the hardships she would have to endure.Blonde curls that glistened in the bright sunlight..
Rosy red cheeks and bright sparkling eyes.
She dreams of fairy tales and prince charming, her night in shining armour.
The man who will wisk her away and give her the world.
A few years have past and a young lady sits on the porch swing, gently swaying,
In the distance she can see the clouds turning gray....She can see the rain starting to fall.
A gentle mist brushes against her cheek.
She's growing up way to fast.
A beautiful woman she has become, wondering why her prince never came along...
As she gazes out into the sunset of another day.
A woman of age she sits on the porch, watching the lighting flash across the horizan.
Her hair now with shades of gray.
On a hot and dreary day an old woman sits on the porch.
The breeze gently blows,
The blue sky turns to gray, bringing along the rain.
Her hair has now turned to gray.
Her days of waiting for her prince charming have come to an end.
