life is beautiful

These lucid lines
as rich as king solomon's mines,
are from a lovely lyricist
you will not reasonably resist.

They are for you to read
with eyes armed with greed.
It seems a melodious song
from a taciturn tongue.

No matter the pains in you
and the anguish you're going through,
life is still beautiful;
a fact known to a fool.

Straight forward, with a nice syllabic flow, and an end with the perfect attitude. Great work.

Good poem man-- i like your train of thought

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
