    Life's a game.

    I have to be strong.
    I cannot cry.
    You won't break me down,
    With all your lies.
    You can spit your insults.
    You can judge.
But some things are just too much.
    Every day,
    I do dread.
    So I'll put this gun,
    Up to my head.
    Goodbye world.
    Goodbye pain.
    Look, I've won!
    Life's a game.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
