    Light Brown Eyes

    introduced to a company
met someone who'd work with me
light brown eyes as i can see
    right through mischievous irony

was respectful and nice to me
then cruel and unjust to me
took my jewel he had gaven me
    this wasn't my destiny

    i gave it my all
    to this person who'd fall
from my heart to the door
    now hes nothing at all

and im left with this hate
    left with wanting to break
him for all that he'd take
but hes gone for his sake

    id kill just to feel
his live heart in my hand
left my heart in the sand
    washed away by this man

not a man but a boy
    got a call from 5 O
he was born in 9 O
    Matched his body for sure

    now its over for good
    hes not misunderstood
just a kid from the hood
who took all that he could

    but its over for now
as i take this last vow
    this wont happen again
cause now I'LL choose my ends

Relates to what goes on today in relationships. I like the use of emotions. Good poem!

ahhhh this one is really good! i like it alot. and its very relatable for me. you definitely have a wicked cool style.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
