    Poem Commentary

    THIS IS A TRUE STORY OF A TEN YEAR OLD GIRL FROM NORTH UGANDA
    HER PARENTS AND BROTHER AND SISTERS WERE KILLED AND SHE WAS PUT ON A HUMANS TRADE SHIP AND THEY CONTINUALY RAPED HER AND
    THEY DROPPED HER OFF IN BOSTON. SHE WAS LOST AT SEA FOR 11
    MOUNTHS. SHE IS 24 NOW PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS

    LOST AT SEE

    LOST AT SEe
    She was only ten
    She lost her kin
    And her inosence
    She's only a girl
    With little curls
    Lost at see and bleeding
    She took a trip
    On a ship
    To find freedom
    Along the way
    insted of play
    She learnt a way of needing
    She's much to young to feel the feel to feel the feel of needing
    We need to pray
    she'll  find her way
    Find her way in freedom
    She needs to pray
    Forgive the day
    Forgive the way
    She learnt freedom
    Shes an older girl
    In a free world
    Lost at see and bleeding
    She's hooked on drugs
    What she needs is hugs
    And true freedom
    She's an older girl
    With little curls
    Lost at see and bleeding

    My heart goes out to that young lady who suffered such a horrific childhood. No one should ever have to go through such pain. Even though those happenings took place in her past, I’m quite sure that the memories of it still play a big part in her present. My prayer for her is that she will invite God to be Lord of her life and allow Him to heal her of all her wounds (physically, mentally, socially and spiritually). In God is the only way that she will ever be able to experience complete wholeness in her life, because God can mend all brokenness. Even though this poem is sad, it’s a great write. Thanks for sharing it and be blessed!!!

    You have a unique style that morrod your chosen moniker. the phrases strum past the ear onto the cortex. I'm appreciative you take the time to add a bit of contex in the commentary box. Styles differ, but a highly symbolozed one such as yours depends on that pithy addendum to be understood.
