Poem Commentary

if you can hear me
tell me

lost hope

people almost hate each other
they always hate and make fun of another
but when someone is nice for once
and you want to take them out to lunch
when your in a bad place
and all you see is a shinning bright face
think when will i get another chance
maybe regret not taking that girl to the dance
when your alone and have to start over
i just think of my dear amber

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
