love kills love

love kills love

yours as a germ will sprout
mine as a flower will bloom
vice verse
yet a flagrant blight will dispatch
any garden at its most vibrant height
with a parallel touch
a curative agent from a potent vine
will root out any ill-gotten disease with disdain
either way we lose
love kills love
like a plague
