Love Lost (2002)

My heart cries out in the night
To one who does not hear
There's a burning in my eyes
An endless flow of tears

I thought love was forever
An ever-growing vine
Suspending from heaven's garden
Anhilating time

Nothing ever seemed to matter
As long as you were there
Moments in time with you stood still
And like a rose, were fair

I miss so much those evening walks
And all our secret late night talks
Who knew one day this path we'd cross
And years of love somehow'd be lost

But because I know that love is real
And that true love can help us heal
I still believe one day, in time
The strength behind this force, we'll find

And love can begin anew in us
With God's help, again we can learn to trust.
