    magic in a child's eyes

    White and majestic
Black eyes and a nose to match
    A white spiral horn
Four legs and a round body
    What is this thing?
    It's a unicorn.

    Fluffy brown fur
    Big brown eyes
    With a big black nose
    Four furry Paws
    Sharp, Sharp claws
    Big giant mouth
    Soft and playful
What do you call this magical thing?
    A Teddy Bear.

Through a childs eyes you'll never see
just how magical these things can be.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
