MAN (3)
Man.
A paradigm of paradox,
Of contradiction a consistent cohort.
When onto the life's scene he enters,
Concomitant with cries and pandemonium he comes,
But the world alone rejoices
For unto it another mortal is born.
Man.
When back to the dust he returns,
The world alone mourns with tears and tumult,
The sudden termination, toil and troubles of man
But there lies man, motionless
And composed with a clipped tongue,
Incapable to elect his own Golgotha.
Not conscious enough to recognize
The path to his tomb leads,
Nor able to choose his own undertakers.
