you fight for what you want.
trying but not winning is better than not fighting
who knows you might win
And yes,Love always win.June,2009.

MEMORIES OF YOU

Memories of you floods my mind
My soul exhale
Thoughts and memories of us
Days filled with contentment
With so much fun to share
How you would sing to me
Songs from the deepest well
Kalai,It was just too good to be true
I wish you could forgive me now
I waish you could see that all I was for you
Iwish my mind could be so transparent
You would see I was scared
Wanted only a little more effort
Just alittle move from you to prove your world to me
Sad stories of age difference
Opportunities of love lost cos of fear and distance
Moments like now I tilt my head
not out of pain but to kiss you
CXlosing my eyes to see you
And i do
Why?
It's so long
Kids between us
Lovers hanging on us
why?
I tell you mine
I call it GUILT
I let you go
While I wanted you badly
Within I hoped fervently you would wait
But did I?
Yes I did!!!
  silently,patiently
But beauties are stolen fastly
If you know what I mean
I was stolen and you did not mind
you never did
Kalai,you never fought for me
you do not fight
You are too 'gentle'
My silent screaming mind
Do not blame my scattered words
that is the frame my mind is
Asking just one question
WHY WOULD I LOVE YOU SO AND YOU AND IBELONG TO SOMEONELSE?
answer: You never fought!

I LOVE what you do with the shapes of your poems, it seems to add a new dimension to your mastery of verse. Keep them coming and I'll keep reading!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
