Moonlight Gladness
Oh what whispers in the cool winds
help upon the evening dew,
that sweet aroma
in the starlet night of June.
Where wondrous thoughts
of companionship
is held in warm embrace.
Within the glow of
moonlight gladness:
how serene this moment
to share with someone true,
removed from the
madness to when we were alone.
Now to have and take this gift
through the softness of my voice,
remember words spoken
and do what you must
to make your choice.
There are new beginnings
which await beyond the eyes view
of what is yet to be
for me and held by you.
