Moving On

Moving On

I did think of you today,

let the noise of the world

drown.

Allowed the quiet to poison you-

until your face was not so clear,

a droplet on glass,

the tiniest hurricane

that could have been a

hallucination.

There may be a sliver of evil

in the silence,

but there is happiness too.

This piece is a poetic gem on so many levels; its dreamy voice is seductive.

You put the words together well. Letting go is so hard to do. I found myself drifting to the past as I read. Thanks for the memories, good or bad. Hang in there, you're a young beautiful lady and have many a lover to go.

Hi Kimberly this sounded one of my works, good for you.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
