Moving... where the grass is greener!

Moving... where the grass is greener!

No way am i going back there
Where the memories are less than joyous.
No way am i going to salute those faces and embrace that terrible life that scared us.

I gave it up for a reason and that's how i intend for it to stay.
I strayed away from that life, ain't no way i am going back there.

The scars remain, the pain won't fade, the mist is still very strong.
I had wished it all goobye one day and pray that it will remain that way for my whole life long.

So farewell and goodbye, i say to that yester-year someone else's trouble you will be,
Because now i am free like a bird to soar the skies and now you won't be troubling me.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
