My Beautiful Dawn
She was the sunshine in my lifeShe was my baby girl
I held her in my arms both days
When she came in and left this world
Her life was filled with joy and laughter
Her children were her joy
She left behind her lovely daughter and
Two strong and healthy boys
I waited so long for her to be born
She was in my dreams for years
Now she still resides there
Through my laughter and my tears
No longer here to hold her in my arms
But beside me nonetheless
I feel her presence every day
She is finally at rest
No more worries, troubles or cares
She is happy, joyous and free
God has her in His arms today
As she smiles and waits for me
My beautiful baby girl I miss you
I can't wait for the day
That I can hold you in "my" arms again
Till then right here I'll stay
To carry on the legacy
To carry on your smile
For your life was not in vain my child
You made my life worthwhile
