My Heart, My Soul, And My Strength

My Heart, My Soul, And My Strength

There never been times you've tried to hide,
The love you keep for me inside.
With a love so plan and clear to see,
I thank you for everything, your doing for me.
Many times I sat in the dark and cry,
Preying to you GOD, and wishing I could die.
But thank you GOD, you've brought me back,
From the strong hold, and destruction, of Satan's attack.
No one will ever compare to you,
Because nothing in this world, is impossible for you.
You've opened my eyes, and allowed me to see,
The things in my life, that's important to me.
With you my love don't have a length,
Because you are my heart, my soul, and my strength.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
