One day God told me, the time had come,
a spirit was needed, and I was the one.
So I got myself ready, to go down to earth,
to a loving family, anxiously awaiting my birth.
The forming of my body, had already begun,
and for me, God had chosen, a real special one.
Mine was different than most, I guess you might say,
but there was a reason, God made it that way.
He carefully chose a family, who could understand,
and he promised he wouldn't let go of my hand.
Their arms were wide open it was love at first sight,
and I then knew somehow, it would be alright.
My spirit stayed strong, though small I may be,
a lot would be learned, from little ol' me.
I came to a place, where I got some real special care,
from some real special people, whom all did their share.
Compared to most kids, my start wasn't the same,
but there are many to thank, no one to blame.
I now have the chance, to learn and to grow,
I will never give up, and I want you to know....
I couldn't have made it, without the support and the love,
of all my great new friends, and our God up above.
