Poem Commentary

my writing's  are  raw I really hope the message I'm intending to convey reaches people in a positive manner..becouse I positively love writing ..

My Name is Cocaine

My name is Cocaine
call me coke for short
I entered ths country without a passport.
I've made lot's of scum's rich,
most turned scared forced to snitch,
eventually found bloated face down in a ditch.
Snort me or slam me,
rub me right on your gum's
Make me into crack,
then comb the floor for my crumb's.
I take doctor's and teachers,
turn out nun's scolars and preacher's.
I'll have you selling your sister
and coming out of your seaker's.
My rush is so good
that sex take's a backseat.
your dick won't get hard,
so you can't beat your meat.
You make bindles to sell me
but you can't make the bill.
So you bindle me up
and watch the wastebasket fill.
Your desire grow's bigger
and bigger each day
then your out on the corner
selling your ass for the pay
I don'ty discriminate man,girl
it's all good
I just wanted to make sure my goal's understood
You'll have no shame,
you'll suck anyones dick
you'll look tore the fuck up
and you won't give a shit
no you won't even care
cause your on a mission
and I sent you there.
You'll lose everything fast
cause my rush it don't last,
you'll continue to chase me
and continue to crash.
You'll burn all of your bridge's
all but the one you live under
You sit out in the cold,
with one thought that you plunder
"Ineed just one more taste,
then I'm done I mean through!
Well you might be through with me,
but I'm not through with you.

This is very amazing! I love it all the way to the very end I will read it again and I look forward to reading more of your work. I can relate to this piece in sooo many ways that it made me cry. My Mother was a drug addict all my childhood years until I had my son that's when she finally quit.. :-( My father he was also since I was a child but he still is and probably will never decide to choose the better path in this life that's so short.. Well sorry if I said too much! Thanks for sharing..

Great read! It painted a great picture of life on the hunt for the hunter. Visual is very nice!

Great write Ocean, I loved the structure, it read to me almost as a really long limmerick and flowed smoothly. The positive message was clear in this one, and expressed so well in the poignant final lines, I also appreciated the peppered levity thoughtout. Excellant read, I had Clapton's 'Cocaine' in my head while I was reading Haha. Peace and Love, Spence

The power and flow of this poem make it worth rewards. You have a talent that shines bright at the sun. I love your descriptions and the way your rhymes carried through so strongly. Great write. Thank you for sharing.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
