My son

  • Childhood

    My son

    I should have known
    The day you were born
The day I saw your pink leg-bone
That one day you go away to the world to roam
Independent of me, independent of mom.
But soon you will have your own thing and wonder
That he would do the same as you have done.
The answer is yes for this is what keeps the world go round forever.

Very nicely written and might I say how quickly they grow up. I truly understand where you are coming from with this.

Thank you very much for your encouraging words. By the way that was my first poem

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
