    NEW CRUSH

    I HAVE THESE FEELING'S DEEP INSIDE
    FEELINGS THAT I HAVE TO HIDE
    I DONT KNOW IF HE FEELS THAT WAY TO
    AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO
    WHEN WERE TOGETHER, I FEEL UPTIGHT
    WHEN HES AROUND I FEEL SO RIGHT
    I DREAM ABOUT WHAT WE CAN DO
    AND ALL THE THINGS WE CAN PURSUE
    I YEARN JUST TO FEEL HIS TOUCH
    AND WHEN HE LEAVES, I MISS HIM SO MUCH
    I WANT TO FEEL HIS LIPS AGAINST MINE
    AND FEEL OUR BODIES INTERWINE
    SO FOR NOW ILL LOVE HIM FROM AFAR
    ONE DAY ILL EXPRESS HOW SPECIAL YOU ARE
    SO UNTILL THEN I WILL RETAIN THIS RUSH
    AND UNTILL THEN ILL CONTAIN THIS CRUSH

    retain this rush. contain this crush. wow love it. very lyrical. Im a fan of rhyming. i do it way too much. some see it as a crutch. but there's something about the rhtyhm of reading that appeals to me. its like music. great job. simplistic little tale. hits strong. thank you

    How much pain in the heart rendered when in love without the comfort of knowing the others feelings and if they mirror one’s own. In a similar situation as of now, this poem hits close to home in its meaning as the man I have a crush on is dating someone that lives in China. However, in time, one must step back to view the situation from a new perspective: if it is meant to be time will ensure it will be so. If it is not meant to be, time will reply in kind.
