No Longer Cold
I dream of nights that are no longer cold,
Where warmth is a true feeling and pain is but a memory.
There is nothing to look forward to but the not so distant cold thats is to come.
Where lies the truth that has always been lies, where is what we think are lies and in turn is the honest truth.
Can you or I handle what we concive as reality.
Is there anything but the bitter cold to look forward to.
Does the heart seek warmth only to find bitterness because in reality there is nothing?
Can we as mere humans find the answer to what we are and why?
What is left in a world where all you expect is cold
What goal is there,
It is but a dream that we search for
A dream that so often we are awoken from
to bear the harsh winds, the awful cold and the emptiness that fallows.
There are no friends within the cold,
there is no hope
just the darkness that allows the cold
and the memory that you where once warm.
