I am amazed at the wonders that lie afar -- out of reach
Not to be disturbed by the everydays of life itself.
To enjoy the solitude, yet completely surrounded
To be so high above the earth, looking down so peacefull
What is it like to have that peace, to know no worries?

I wonder to myself if it is possible to know such a feeling.
Then I look to my side and there you sit holding my hand
Caressing my skin with the slightest of touches.
Again I am amazed at the thought of everything you mean.
To enjoy your strength and the peace that you bring
To sit and be held by your arms, and to know no worries.

When I gaze back up into the sky and see all the beautiful stars,
I am amazed at the wonder of you being so near.
To be able to enjoy solitude, yet be surrounded by you
To know your touch, your smile, your strength, your love.
I finally realize I have that peace and know no worries.
