    Poem Commentary

My first poem, written when I was heart broken by my first 'real' love.

    Orphan Of Wishes

    I wish
My heart never abscond with yours,
and this smile of mine is devoid of plastic.
    Wished the bird's
    beautiful hymns still melodious and
you never rob my sun of his smiles

    How I wish
this heart ooze no love to thy,
and you reside not in my shadow.
    Wish I can
strike your booming comet out of my constellation and
flip your snowflake far away from my iceberge.

    Can't but wished
    our parths never met,
Never took the chance of asking after your name.
    Wished never got
    enchanted with your sottovoce and
unburied the gem buried deep in the earth bloated belly.

    Wished I
could sneak back into my back,
    stole into today yesterday
    peep the morrow
    and stop being
natures pawn on his mischevious chessboard.

    Wish
    I could stop wishing,
    for my wishes are dead!
    and I;
    Just an Orphan
    orphan of wishes!!
