When you are away from home
The places you have to roam
With new friends made and old ones left behind
These things you witness are like flims we rewind

You see the battlefield in front of you
You know only of your duty to do
You fight for all those at home who are free
We know of your sacrifice this we see
You keep us safe when you battle there
This war has pulled us together so we dare

To say we are PROUD of our Men and Women troops
fighting on their land
They fight in Iraq and Iran
But the love they carry in their hearts
Makes us strong so nothing tares us apart

We pray for our loved ones safe return home
We hope they are brought home soon with no more to roam
For only GOD knows this out come
We say to our Men and Women troops
"HURRY HOME"
